METAL FIXTURES

There are many manufacturers of various types of metal fixtures and usually a few manufacturers for each type. The highest quality of metal fixtures comes from either Austria or Germany, and in certain cases, Italy as well.

Each manufacturer specializes in a limited number of metal fixtures solutions and does not manufacturer all metal fixtures for the furniture industry and building carpentry. For example, Bloom Co. from Austria only produces diverse range of tracks and drawers as well as hinges. Of course, Bloom Co. also produces the accompanying products for drawers (silverware dividers, pot partitions and various separation devices) and for hinges (pistons).
This has led to professionalization, a very high quality and enhancement of existing products. It must be stressed that the carpenter must know how to optimally coordinate the type of plywood, veneer or the color with the metal fixture (or anything else stated here) for the use or requirements of both the client and designers.
